Should Indian media be held accountable or should they enjoy impunity?

Image
"Your only right is to perform your duties perfectly". Geeta 2:47. It is the eternal line said by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the battle of Kurukshetra. The line pretty much sums up the Oriental perspective on the rights and duties of any persons. The line implies that the only rights a person enjoys is the right to perform ones duty perfectly. Right for oriental society is not a claim against another person but the claim against ones own self. The right to claim to yourself to perform your duty perfectly. This is the maxim that we have lived by all the generations till this day and age. But somewhere in the corners of our own civilization, we can feel that we have strayed very far from our own ideals and we have become something which we never were, a deceitful person. The Indian news media is no different. They fall on the category of press and the press is considered to be the fourth organ of any democratic state. The rational behind the "fourth organ of democratic soci...

Tantra Jyotish and Yogini Jyotish

Yogini Jyotish and Tantra Jyotish Jyotish, etymologically is derived from the Sanskrit word ( + ), which literally translates to divine light and God. The synthesis of both the words gives the meaning, “Jyotish is a divine instrument that acts as the divine light to its practitioner in the pursuit of ultimate god”. Divine light here means wisdom and the knowledge of reality while as Isha means ultimate god. Through the knowledge and wisdom of the ultimate reality i.e the self, the god who is inside every being is realized”.  Jyotish is thepath which helps the practitioner to unravel the mysteries of outer universe which in turn unravels the mysteries of his/her own inner universe because “   ” that human body and the universe are similar.Tantra is a systematic approach to solve a problem or to run a system. For instance, in “Panchanguli Tantra” the whole universe is saturated to five basic elements i.e earth, water, air, fire and ether. Since these five basic elements...

Naked yoga will make you naked and nothing more

Recently, the online medias have been flooded with different Yoga practiced by some westerners. Different yogas like "Chicken Nugget Yoga", "Naked Yoga", "Beer Yoga" etc is widely being shared in online medias . The interesting part is that it is hugely commercialized. The original yoga that is all about "being one with oneself" has now taken different twist and turns. The very essence of yoga is going beyond the senses and the very practice of using unrelated things to practice yoga surely defeats the very purpose of Yoga i.e oneness. The mundane commercialization of yoga has given rise to different forms of yoga which is entirely arbitrary and not related to Yoga itself. One yoga studio situated in Manhattan has opened a Yoga studio named "Naked Yoga". The rational behind naked yoga for them is  that "when we are all naked we are all same". Naked Yoga for them is all about being open from outside and for confidence issue. Bu...

From Adi Natha to Gautam Buddha, from Vigyana Bhairava to Patanjali, Yoga has been the discipline that has guided all the Siddhas and Buddhas to reach the highest aim of human life. Yoga means union. It originated from the father of all Siddhas, "Shiva". Shiva gave the kno...

Aghoris eating human flesh is false (cannibalism debunked)

Image
Misinterpretation of spiritual fact that Aghoris are cannibalistic. This is the second post about the Aghora philosophy. The first post of Aghora was explained with relevance to vedanta. Both have things in common which were outlined. Let me write to some myths about Aghora and if they have any degree of truth in them? 1) Aghori eats Human flesh. If you have read my previous post on Aghora-1 , you might as well conclude that the Aghora lineage has some big seers and saints. The tradition starts from Lord Shiva, the famous Aghoris were Lord Dattatreya who initiated Aghori Kinaram to this lineage. The Kinaram lineage is one authentic lineage of Aghora tradition that is predominant and prevalent in Indian subcontinent and the ashram of Aghori Kinaram is in Varanasi. His guru was none other then Mahasiddha Dattatreya. Mahasiddha Dattatreya the pinnacle of wisdom of both Vedanti and the Aghora sect would not advocate any Aghori to be a cannibal. Aghoras have restriction upon nothing but thi...

Lord Shiva and Shivatwa

Image
Shiva = Shakti It is  Maha Shivratri nonth, the most auspicious festival of Lord Shiva. It is the day where all the shiva followers practice penances for the perfection of their sadhana. The main element  of Maha Shivaratri is Lord Shiva himself and the attainment of "Shivatwa". Shivatwa means "Ishwaratva". To establish Shivatwa inside means to establish and nurture the divinity inside. That divinity is the source of the whole universe and human existence. When nothing in this universe remained only divinity remained and through that divinity all things sprung and to that divinity everything shall rest upon. Before going into "Shivatva" we should dwell upon who Shiva is and who Shiva isn't? From Aghor tradition and perspective "everything is Shiva". There is nothing that isn't Shiva because Shiva of the Aghora doesn't just mean lord Rudra only but the "tatwa" that is the element. In modern terms, there is the concept of Higg...

Dharm Adhikara (oriental legal system) vs Western legal system.

Image
This post is written in reference to an allegation made by an advocate of Himachal Pradesh to His Holiness Mahayogi Satyendra Nath that the asana upon which he reigns is of Sesh Naaga and he portrays himself as Lord Vishnu and many more. Before answering the query, it would be my privilege to write upon the subjects which I am very interested upon, law and spiritualism. Both are my passions. I am appearing for my bar exam this year and I am an ardent spiritual person initiated to the lineage of Kaula siddhas by His Holiness Mahayogi Satyendra Nath ji maharaj (Ishaputra). First of all, let us have a look upon the western legal system. The western legal system is the predominant system that is universal. Even countries like Nepal, India have adopted western legal system without a shadow of a doubt. Western legal system mainly consists of Common law system, Continental law system. The American law system is emerging and in recent trends much of legal improvements and break through have co...
